Indexfonds

Ein Indexfonds ist ein Investmentfonds, der in seiner Zusammenstellung einen bestimmten, repräsentativen Index möglichst exakt nachbildet. Um das zu erreichen, investieren Indexfonds beispielsweise in die dem Index zugrunde liegenden Wertpapiere im gleichen Verhältnis wie der Index. Gängige Indizes, die von Indexfonds abgebildet werden, sind beispielsweise der DAX oder der Dow Jones. Bei einem Indexfonds werden nur dann Änderungen bezüglich der Zusammensetzung vorgenommen, wenn sich auch die Zusammensetzung oder die Gewichtung des zugrunde liegenden Index ändert.
