The Coca-Cola Company wurde 1892 von Asa Griggs Candler in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), gegründet. Heute ist Coca-Cola der größte Softdrinkhersteller weltweit und verkauft in ca. 200 Ländern weltweit über 3900 Produkte. Rund zwei Drittel des Umsatzes werden außerhalb der USA erzielt. Das bekannteste Produkt ist die namensgebende Coca-Cola, die ursprünglich von John Stith Pemberton erfunden wurde.
