Die Aktie sprang im vorbörslichen Handel um fast 50 Prozent auf 2,83 Dollar. Ein größerer 20-Milliarden-Deal war zuvor gescheitert. Der Abschluss gilt als wirtschaftlich wie politisch wichtig, da Puerto Rico unter maroder Energie-Infrastruktur und Stromausfällen leidet.
