10,05 +0,46%17.07. Honda stellt die Produktion seines einzigen Elektroautos in den USA ein. Der Prologue-SUV läuft mit dem Modelljahr 2026 aus und soll nur noch verkauft werden, bis die Lagerbestände von rund 100.000 Fahrzeugen abgebaut sind. Hintergrund ist die schwache Nachfrage: Im vergangenen Jahr setzte Honda lediglich rund 40.000 Prologue-Modelle ab. Künftig will der japanische Autobauer in den USA verstärkt auf Hybridfahrzeuge setzen. Auch andere Hersteller wie Volkswagen, Ford und Stellantis fahren ihre Elektroauto-Pläne zurück.
