38,50 -6,14%17.07. Alcoa hat seine Produktionsprognose für 2026 gesenkt. Nach den Auswirkungen des Zyklons Narelle auf die Raffinerie Pinjarra in Australien rechnet der Konzern mit einer um 200.000 bis 300.000 Tonnen geringeren Aluminiumoxidproduktion und erwartet nun insgesamt 9,5 bis 9,6 Millionen Tonnen. Im zweiten Quartal stieg der Gewinn zwar auf 407 Millionen US-Dollar nach 164 Millionen US-Dollar im Vorjahr, mit einem Gewinn je Aktie von 2,12 US-Dollar und einem Umsatz von 3,97 Milliarden US-Dollar verfehlte Alcoa jedoch die Erwartungen der Analysten. Die Aktie gab im nachbörslichen Handel um rund zwei Prozent nach.
